The Scientific Secrets of Doctor Who

Written with Dr Marek Kukula of the Royal Observatory, Greenwich, The Scientific Secrets of Doctor Who is published by BBC Books on 4 June 2015. It contains 15 original short stories (which I edited) based on a scientific theme, each accompanied by an essay exploring that theme in more detail.

I have chosen and written introductions for stories from each of the three volumes I edited ("The Lampblack Wars" by Matthew Sweet from The History of Christmas; "The Avant Guardian" by Eddie Robson from Time Signature; "Lares Domestici" by Anna Bratton from How The Doctor Changed My Life), and had a story of mine chosen, too ("How You Get There").
